⚠️🐹💘🍕 (Warning! Hamster loves pizza)
I use emoji everyday in messages. 😀 It would be handy to have them in Evernote and now you can.🎆
How to enable Emoji for different platforms.📚
Settings -> General -> Keyboards -> Keyboards -> Add New Keyboard -> Emoji
Open Evernote and while typing a note you will see a Emoji icon in the keyboard area. Tap this icon and the Emoji keyboard will display. To return to the previous keyboard tap the “ABC” icon.
Each device has a different way of adding the Emoji keyboard.
Check out these links:
The first thing you need to do is to add the character and keyboard viewers to the menu bar.
System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Tick “Show Keyboard and Character Viewers in menu bar”
The second step is when you are typing in Evernote, click the icon that looks like a keyboard, in the menu bar, click “Show Character Viewer”.
This will open the Character Viewer. Double-click the emoji to add it. The emoji will appear where your cursor was placed previously in your note.
If you are using Yosemite you can just use keyboard shortcut Control + Cmd + Spacebar and click emoji that you want to insert.
Right-Click on the toolbar normally located at the bottom of the screen. Click Toolbars->Touch Keyboard.
Open note in Evernote and begin typing, pause where you want to insert the emoji.
Click “Touch Keyboard” icon on toolbar and click the smiley face icon, click any emoji to insert it into the note.
