Evernote: How to Display Shortcuts in Horizontal Toolbar

This tip is specifically for PC. Mac does not have this functionality.

 

Shortcuts are displayed in the left panel by default. You can change the location of the shortcuts and make them appear in a toolbar at the top for easier access.shortcut toolbar 1

 

1. Click View in the main toolbar.

2. Click Shortcuts->Show in Toolbar.

3. The shortcuts will now appear in the main toolbar.

To change the shortcuts back to the left panel, click View->Shortcuts->Show in Left Panel.

1.Connect Google Drive by clicking the Google Drive icon

2.Log into Google and click Okay. This will integrate Evernote and Google Drive.
3.Click the Google Drive icon again to show Google Drive.
4.Select the file that you want to insert into your note and click Select.

5.The file will appear as a large icon.

6.If you click the icon link it will open the file in Google Drive in your browser.

7.To delete the Google Drive file from the note, position the cursor to the right of the icon and press delete on a Mac. On Windows you will need to position the cursor to the right of the icon and press backspace.

This video shows you step by step how to display just the tagged notes, then move them to a new notebook as well as publishing them.
